The New Home Company is kicking off sales Sunday for Promontory, a neighborhood of 133 contemporary homes located at the highest point of Civita in Mission Valley.

The development, the Orange County company’s first community in San Diego County, includes multi-story townhomes and both single-level and three-story attached homes designed by the award-winning Woodley Architectural Group of Santa Ana.

Many homes will feature 180-degree views of Mission Valley, and all are close to the new 14.3-acre Civita Park.

“These modern residences were designed to capture the unobstructed views at Promontory with floor-to-ceiling windows, great rooms and master bedrooms oriented toward the valley below, and oversized patios and decks that enhance the overall indoor/outdoor living experience,” said Megan Eltringham, vice president of marketing for The New Home Company.

Homes in the Heights area of Promontory are two- and three-story courtyard townhomes with two or three bedrooms and up to 2,015 square feet. There are five different floor plans priced from the high $600,000s.

The Bluffs area features both single-level and three-story single-family attached homes with two or three bedrooms and up to 2,188 feet. Three floor plans are available starting in the mid to high $800,000s.

A sales office with model homes at 2725 Via Alta Place will be open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The New Home Company, headquartered in Aliso Viejo, is building new residences throughout Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Arizona.

Civita is being developed by Sudberry Properties on the site of an old sand and gravel quarry. The 230-acre urban village will ultimately have 4,780 homes and apartments, 480,000 square feet for a retail center and 420,000 square feet for offices.
