The New Homes on the Block: Emerson Homes

By Alissa Reyes

Construction of the Emerson Homes located on Saratoga Ave. is progressing and model homes are almost complete. The New Home Company announced their grand opening for March 11.

Named after Ralph Waldo Emerson, the development has 33 three-story town homes spread across seven buildings that sit on a 1.73-acre plot of land. They feature a Spanish inspired exteriors with attached 2 car garages. They’re also pet friendly.

One of the top qualities of these homes is “location, location, location,” said Northern California President for New Home Kevin Carson.

“We’re very fortunate to get this location,” continued Carson. The homes have easy access to Saratoga Ave. and San Tomas Expressway. They’re near Pruneridge Shopping Center, Pruneridge Golf Club, Santana Row and Valley Fair Mall as well as good schools.

Twelve homes went on early pre-sale and all sold out–many to first time homeowners. The first move-ins will commence in spring.

On March 11, the model homes will be open for viewing and homes will be available for purchase. There are five plans to choose from. The homes range from 1,454 to 1,907 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and up to three full and two half baths. Prices start in the mid-$900,000s.

After sealing the deal, buyers can then visit the Design Studio located on-site to personalize their home. Flooring, cabinets and countertops are some of the customizable options. Because the studio is integrated into the site, buyers can see how different options will look in their specific home.

“They can grab tile and bring it to their home to see how the lighting hits it,” said Carson.

According to Carson, they aim to sell and close out all the homes by September so the residents can enjoy their new homes without constant construction.

The opening is still on track despite recent storms, said Carson. Those interested in Emerson can visit www.EmersonNWHM.com to sign up for the Interest Registry.
